Do I need to be available all day?
Mostly, you just need to be reachable. You don’t have to sit at your computer all day, but we ask that you have Basecamp Chat nearby for quick "thumbs up" moments. The most important window is 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM EST for the big reveal and final tweaks.
Does my website have to be on WordPress?
Yes. We build on WordPress using Divi because it’s a stellar combination of creative freedom and high-speed performance. It allows us to build a custom site that you can actually manage later.
Are there any other costs I should know about?
- A Domain Name: Your website’s address. We recommend Namecheap.com for a quick and easy setup. You’ll need this secured before we start.
- Hosting: This is the "rent" for your site’s home. Our LaunchBay Hosting starts at $25/month.
- The Pro Move: Hosting is included if you join our Support Plan Membership!
What is the Support Plan Membership?
It’s our way of making sure you never feel "stuck" with your tech. The plan includes:
- Hosting & Security: Your site stays fast and safe.
- Legal Protection: We include Termageddon to keep your policies auto-updated.
- Monthly Edits: You get up to one hour of edits every month—perfect for when you need to swap a photo, update a bio, or tweak some text without doing it yourself.
Do you write the words for my website?
While we aren't full-service copywriters, we provide our Content Compass guide. It’s a DIY tool that removes the "blank page" anxiety and helps you write words that actually sell.
What if I don't have a logo or brand colors yet?
No problem! Just add the Mini Brand Add-on ($500) to your project. We’ll build your logo and color palette in the first two hours of your Design Day so everything looks perfectly cohesive.
